How to buy or sell stable coin? First, create account and then get verified, you will be prompted to use our calculator and instructions will be given. For under $10,000 CAD transaction, email transfer will be used. For larger than that, please contact for OTC (over the counter). HodlEx is non-custodial, meaning we never hold your funds.

Why need ID to verify?

For any registered MSB in Canada, identity verification is required to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, identity theft, and fraud. Similar to buying FX at a bank, staff will ask for identification. For us, this is a one-time verification; once approved, you will not need to repeat it as long as you transact with the same identity.

How to get verified.

After you create an account with us, you will be guided to perform an identification check with our partner. You will be forwarded to their website and the process usually takes under a minute. If it fails, you can retry or contact us for manual verification. Your privacy is our priority, and the entire process is encrypted and handled by our professional partner.

How to delete my account?

Please contact us through info@hodlex.ca. If you close your account, we will delete your access but retain necessary information for compliance purposes. Your personal information will not be used for other reasons, nor shared with third parties, except when required to prevent fraud or assist law enforcement.
